Question: Is a 6 Berth Motorhome / Campervan Easy to Drive?
Answer: YES! I always say that you don’t notice the extra metre or so in length when you’re driving the motorhome, but you sure do miss it when you stop!

Question: Can I drive a Family Motorhomes RV on a regular car licence?
Answer: YES! A regular car licence is all that is required. To take advantage of our low basic insurance excess of just $400, you’ll need to be aged 25 – 84 years of age and have an open drivers licence (manual or auto dependant on motorhome chosen) and have held a licence for 2 years or more. No convictions, no loss or suspension of licence in the last 5 years.

Question: Can I free camp in this motorhome?
Answer: YES* (*subject to council and other authorities’ guidelines / restrictions). We recommend the brilliant publication Camps 6 Australia Wide. Copies of this “must have” book are available for purchase from Family Motorhomes.

Question: How far in advance do I need to book?
Answer: Well in advance! Because Family Motorhomes offers such great value, we book out quickly. Book now for any long term travel during 2012 / early 2013.

Note: As we like to practice what we preach, we’ll be taking a short motorhome holiday ourselves over the Easter Break. So please send an email with your enquiry, dates and contact details, and Maree will be in touch within 72 hours of your enquiry made over the Easter Long Weekend, but usually within 24 hours.
